People look at them and are afraid
And you know, they are fantastic for just drifting down the highway with the radio turned up. I would never own one. But i get it.

Oh yea you’re a weird one :)
Felt nothing like the other H-DS. Even the ultra glide. I kinda wanna test ride one now. See if the road manners are as bad as I am imagining.

If you are middle aged, dentist/accountant, dont know how to ride, can blow another 10k for tassles, and refuse to listen to anyone else.

they’re heavy and they feel like it. Plus the upright seating position and forward controls mean you only get about 30 degrees lean. but for eating up miles on the highway they’re great.
mine’s actually a Dyna frame (FLD Switchback) so it’s a good 150 lbs+ lighter than the Road Glide you show. still not a corner-carver which is why I’ll be adding something way sportier to the stable come spring.

Tbh, one of these is on my list of vehicles to own once in my life. I’ve just always really liked the look.

Did you immediately buy jackets and shirts with the HD logo? because ive never seen anyone riding a HD without HD clothing, as if i couldnt tell what hes riding. dont forget to apply HD stickers to your pickup/car windows.

Congratulations. I was choosing between a Street Glide Special and a new Mustang GT. Took the slightly more practical route, but the Harley is the next purchase.

I like to ride my Harley with my t-shirt that has a big ass Honda logo on the front and the back. For the ultimate brand betrayal I also ride with an Indian shirt occasionally.
